2012
JANUARY
27th - 29th - ADIRONDACK ICE BOWL. Woods Inn, Inlet , NY. A weekend of ice hockey tournaments on Fourth Lake with music and activities. For more info visit www.AdirondackIceBowl.com.
FEBRUARY
3rd - 5th - OLD FORGE'S WINTER CARNIVAL. Kick off the winter carnival weeknd on Friday evening with a parade down Main Street followed by an ice skating party with bonfire, hot cocoa and treats. Saturday begins with the Annual Kiwanis Winter Sports Challenge followed by the coronation of the King & Queen, dinner & dancing atthe Last Run Cafe, dare-devil jumpers, torch light skiing performance and a spectacular firework display all happening at McCauley Mountain. Sunday, the 57th Annual Snowflake Derby and the cardboard sled race. For more info call 315-369-6983.
10th & 11th - PINK RIBBON RIDER'S NY SNOW RUN. Guided snowmobile rides, dinner, auctions, and so much more all to benefit breast cancer awareness and patients. To register or for more info visit www.PinkRibbonRiders.com.
MARCH
10th & 11th - SNOFEST. Come check out the lastest 2013 snowmobiles and accessories from the four major manufacturers; Arctic Cat, Polaris, Ski-Doo & Yamaha. Old Forge's North Street Pavilion will be on their Sneak Peak nation tour,providing demo rides, weather permitting. Plus several other premier snowmobile vendors. Tree Line Sled Style will be performing gravity defying freestyle snocross shows with a Saturday night back-flip finale under a spectacular firework display. 16th - St. PATTY'S DAY PARADE. The Adirondacks' biggest parade with synchronized snowplows, wacky grocery cart maneuvers & imaginative locally made floats in this unusual & fun event.
